I hope you are having a good summer!

New Hope is having a great summer.  We are preparing to open our new Vincent group home to six young men who are ready to take over our newest frat house!  We had hoped this move would happen this month, but we are still waiting on some health and safety improvements.

We also hoped we would have seen new Medicaid Waiver amendments by today so we could report on them since they are to go into effect August 1^st.  To date, these amendments have not been approved by the federal government.  New Hope believes that we have made the internal changes necessary to adjust to these changes, unfortunately, since we have not seen the approved waiver amendments, we do not know for sure. We will keep you updated.

New Hope is so excited and so thankful to report that New Hope has raised over $2M for our first capital campaign in over 50 years!  We have long surpassed our initial goal of $1.5M which will be matched by the United Way of Central Indiana.  With that incredible grant, New Hope will be at $3.58M!  We hope to begin the renovations at the end of September/beginning of October and believe it will be about a 6–8 month project.

We hope to see you at the Silver Cup Celebration on August 12^th at our new location, the Biltwell Conference Center, located at 950 North White River Parkway West Drive in Indianapolis.  We are excited about this new location and our event.  Our New Hope choir will sing its original song, “This is New Hope”.  We will also hear from a great group of New Hope individuals, family and staff.  There are great items in the silent auction including a suite at a Fever game, great Colts tickets, jewelry and, of course, original, New Hope art.
