Zeller, Speak!

23 Mar Zeller, Speak!

by Zeller, CCI Facility Dog and NHI Employee

One of the nicest things that ever happened to me at New Hope, happened on my very first day!

I came in the front door and I could see a lot of people down the hallway, and I realized they were waiting to meet ME! I was so excited and so were they. I was smothered with love and my heart felt like it might burst with joy! My heart feels like that a lot around here…full of joy.

That’s how it has been for the seven years I have been part of the New Hope family. We all work together to make the world a better place. And we also have lots of parties here: for birthdays and holidays and I have been both a dragon and a squirrel in the Halloween parade. All of it feels joyful to me.

Our 40th Birthday party was loads of fun and lots of people attended. And I could feel all the love in their hearts for New Hope. We handed out a great reflection book. It includes memories and stories from individuals we serve, people who do or have worked here and others too. I have enjoyed reading it!

On May 3rd we are having our first annual Silver Cup fundraiser luncheon! Tickets are still available and I encourage you to attend. We will be displaying incredible art work created by those we serve, Dr. Rick Gunderman is speaking AND you will receive a copy of our anniversary reflection book!

Please join us and share the joy!
