Zeller, Speak!

26 Jun Zeller, Speak!

Greetings friends,

Guess what? I’M FINALLY BACK AT WORK! After several dog years, New Hope has finally decided to reopen Day Services at Payne Road where I work and at Castleton where my friend Oreo works.

Don’t get me wrong – I love a lazy day full of naps, pets and snacks at home. But boy, was I getting tired of the view from my window. At New Hope, I can visit with my friends who I missed so much! I can enjoy a walk in the courtyard and a sniff in the garden. I can even enjoy a dance party!

While I’m definitely enjoying being back at New Hope, things aren’t exactly back to normal. Some of my friends have returned to Day Services, but not the ones who might have a higher risk of getting sick. The 15 or so friends who have returned are wearing masks, but I can still recognize them. They’re staying at least 6 feet apart from each other and they’re washing their hands a LOT too! There aren’t any high fives to say hello or hugs to say goodbye, but everyone is glad to be safely back together. We’re all being careful to follow the rules to stay healthy and happy!

I hope you are staying healthy too and that you’re enjoying the summer sun as much as I am!
