Started in 2015, New Hope’s Employment Services is an initiative that assists in securing meaningful, competitive, and integrated community employment for individuals with disabilities. The program partners with the State of Indiana’s Vocational Rehabilitation. The program has grown to include four employment specialists, resulting in over 100+ placements throughout Marion County. New Hope is excited to announce that it has begun serving individuals in Boone and Hamilton Counties.

Employment specialists at New Hope strive to find secure job placements with organizations that align with the interests and skills of each participant. It is not just about getting individuals a job; it is about finding the right fit. Our team assists individuals holistically in their job search, from discovering opportunities, applying, interviewing, training, and providing continued on-the-job support. We also look for new community partners and work with employers to understand the valuable skills the people we serve can share.

Having individuals with disabilities working in local businesses is a gift. Their unique perspectives and talents enrich the workplace, fostering a more inclusive and diverse environment. Employers often find that these individuals bring exceptional dedication, creativity, and problem-solving skills to their roles, making them invaluable assets to their teams.
