For the second year running, the team at New Hope of Indiana turned the holiday season into a hilarious battle of tacky fashion and generous giving. Thanks to Indianapolis Monthly’s Indianapolis Gives campaign – with an extra boost from Eli Lilly’s prize money partnership – we turned ugly sweaters into serious impact!

We launched the Ugly Sweater Showdown, a fun, friendly (okay, maybe a tiny bit competitive) fundraiser to rally everyone around donating to New Hope through Indianapolis Gives. And boy, did you deliver!

The Big Reveal: $21,478 Raised!

That’s right – together, we smashed our goals and raised $21,478 for New Hope’s mission. Every single dollar counts, whether it was $5 from your coffee fund or a whopping $5,000 gift. You made this happen, and we’re beyond grateful!

Nothing says “holiday spirit” like rocking the most outrageously ugly sweater you can find. Our participants went all out. A huge shoutout to everyone who participated in the Showdown – your creativity and dedication were off the charts!
