For more than four decades, New Hope of Indiana has been a place where individuals with disabilities are known, supported, and encouraged to live meaningful, connected lives. Today, New Hope is looking ahead with a bold vision: one that expands its mission, enhances accessibility, and strengthens its commitment to those it serves.

That vision is the Imagine More Campaign, a transformational effort to reimagine the Payne Road campus into welcoming spaces that foster independence, inclusion, and opportunity.

Reimagining Spaces With Purpose

At the heart of the Imagine More Campaign is a plan to update and redesign key areas of the Payne Road campus, creating spaces that better serve individuals with disabilities now and for generations to come. The campaign focuses on:

• A new community and multi-purpose room to support group activities, gatherings, and programs
• A commercial teaching kitchen to expand skill-building and job-training opportunities
• Renovated outdoor areas designed for recreation, movement, and therapeutic engagement

Each improvement has been designed to strengthen New Hope’s ability to help individuals thrive socially and physically.

A Moment to See the Vision Come to Life

Before we kick off the public phase of this campaign, we want to offer you, our most important supporters a glimpse into what this transformation will look like, New Hope will host two Open House receptions: Tuesday, March 10^th for current and former staff (RSVP here) and Wednesday, March 11^th for families and friends (RSVP here). While guided tours and light refreshments will be available, the focus of the event is to help attendees connect with the campaign’s purpose—seeing firsthand how thoughtful investment in these spaces will impact lives for years to come.

Thanks to a generous matching opportunity of $1.5 million from the United Way of Central Indiana, the Imagine More campaign invites individuals, families, businesses, and community partners to contribute in a meaningful way. Even after the initial $1.5 million match is met, donations will continue to support additional expenses and emerging needs tied to the project, ensuring every dollar drives progress.
