On Monday, June 2^nd, we hosted our third annual Silver Cup Kickoff Reception, which was once again a resounding success! This year, the event took place at the home of Mary and Bryan Chandler, whose generous hospitality we deeply appreciate. Refreshments were provided by the Chandlers as well. Their efforts helped make the event truly special—thank you!

The reception offered a chance to express gratitude to our sponsors who support the Silver Cup Celebration fundraiser and to share firsthand how their contributions positively impact families in our community. We were honored to hear from two family members of individuals served by New Hope, who spoke about the transformative role our organization has played in their loved ones’ lives.

Board Member, Denise Irons, shared the story of her daughter, who has been served by New Hope since she was a young child. Denise highlighted the impact New Hope has had on her daughter and herself, and the importance of New Hope as an organization to continue for future generations.

We also heard from Bernie Konrady, whose brother Jeff, who has epilepsy and an intellectual disability, has been with New Hope for over 46 years since its founding. When their parents could no longer care for Jeff, New Hope became his home, enabling him to live his best life.

We extend heartfelt thanks to the families who shared their moving stories and to everyone who attended this wonderful event. We’re grateful for your support and look forward to showcasing more of New Hope’s impact at this year’s Silver Cup Celebration!
