Folasade Akinbobola – 1/5/2026

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Folasade Akinbobola on January 5, 2026. For the past 17 years, New Hope has been fortunate to experience the profound care that Folasade, affectionately known as “Sade,” provided to everyone she served. Her years of service made a significant impact on both individuals and staff throughout our organization, as she touched the lives of those in all our programs.

In recognition of her dedication and service, Sade was awarded the New Hope of Indiana Direct Support Professional of the Year award in 2021. She was well-known for her beautiful smile and positive spirit. Sade often helped individuals explore their communities and was committed to making dreams come true. Her presence filled the halls and homes with a love that will be remembered for years to come. Sade will be truly missed by all the individuals for whom she cared so deeply, her fellow coworkers, and everyone who knew her.
