Brian Bigelow- 4/30/2026

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of Brian Bigelow’s passing on April 30, 2026. Brian left us peacefully at his home on Manning Road, surrounded by the warmth and care of his sister, Bobbe, his in-home hospice team, dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSP), and beloved housemates.

Since 2016, New Hope has had the privilege of supporting Brian, starting with his move into his own apartment at The Lakes, where he formed lasting bonds with his longtime housemates, Cindy and Patty. Most recently, Brian and his housemates moved to their newly renovated home on Manning Road, where they could enjoy more space and quality time together.

Brian brought so much joy to everyone around him, always greeting people with a welcoming smile and contagious laughter. Music was another source of happiness for him; he loved dancing with his staff and playing the tambourine alongside his music therapist. Brian also enjoyed relaxing while watching his favorite TV show, *Good Times*, and indulging in Reese’s Cups, his favorite snack.

His housemates remember him fondly as a caring and thoughtful friend, frequently checking in to ask if they were “okay.” His kindness and concern for others made a lasting impression on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

We extend our deepest sympathies to Brian’s family, housemates, staff, and everyone who considered him a friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. We will provide information regarding final arrangements as soon as it becomes available.
