Remembering Our Friends

Luke Bullington
8/12 1988 – 11/4/2019
Soon after Luke started attending Payne Road Day Services it became obvious that Luke loved game shows: Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy, Family Feud, etc. He even loved Listening to his favorite game show theme songs on an iPad. He also enjoyed his walks around the building, stopping to visit with associates in their offices who would often hum those songs with him. After visits he liked to close office doors. He could usually be seen with his beads, too, enjoying his chips or soda. Luke and his family were involved in Special Olympics of Indiana’s Boone County chapter for many years as well.

Luke will be missed by associates and individuals in Day Services for his unique personality and gifts. We certainly miss the sounds of those theme songs in the hallwasy, which are now too quiet. Please keep Luke’s family and the Day Services associates in your thoughts and prayers.

I loved seeing Luke, whenever he would just lay down in the hallway for a spontaneous nap I would say he is living his best life. 🙂
