Remembering Our Friends

25 Jun Remembering Our Friends

Paul Tomastic
September 2, 1957 – June 14, 2019

Paul maintained one of the most positive and faith-filled outlooks even though he faced many challenges through his life. He moved into the residential facility in 1983 and resided on Alpha Hall. He moved out into the Supported Living home on 60th St. in 1996 and later moved to the 62nd St. home. He resided there until he was transferred to a healthcare facility in 2017.

Paul’s gentle, fun loving spirit, sense of humor, bright eyes and beautiful smile were truly an inspiration. He was devoted to his girlfriend, Sue Sheffler, and they enjoyed going to College Park Church, where they were members, and also on dates together. Paul was a big sports fan, with his favorite teams, the Colts, Pacers and Notre Dame football. He attended Sycamore Services and NHI Payne Rd. Day Services, and just enjoying being with people. He had a special relationship with NHI facility dog, Zeller, who would go visit with Paul at his house.

Paul is greatly missed by his NHI family.
