30 May Nurses Week 2023
The week of May 6th –12th, New Hope celebrated our AMAZING nursing team in honor of National Nurses Week. New Hope is fortunate to have a dedicated team of 7 nurses, supported by their Administrative Assistant, Tarina Joy Love. Our nursing team members are:
- Nicole Powell, RN (Manager)
- Cindy Miller, LPN
- Danielle Dougherty, LPN
- Madonna Brindle, LPN
- Mavis Sibanda, LPN
- Melissa Hill, LPN
- Tee York, LPN
Nurses play a critical role at New Hope. New Hope’s nursing team is responsible for the overall health care needs of those we serve and provides day to day and preventative care as well as overall coordination of healthcare services. Their work includes, but is not limited to, monitoring vital signs, medication disbursement, providing vaccines, scheduling and coordinating preventative care needs.
The nurses had many celebrations during Nurses Week. Upon their arrival to Payne Rd., their cubicles had been decorated with crepe paper and Day Services made a sign to hang in the office along with paper tulips in planters that were a huge hit!

The nursing team also had brunch and received a nursing-related gift. Individual teams supported their nurse(s) in different ways including flowers, lunch and small gifts.
We love our nurses and appreciate everything they do for New Hope!! THANK YOU!
