Now Presenting: Cheese and Thank You

25 Sep Now Presenting: Cheese and Thank You

We are so excited to be on the cusp of a brand new program, the Cheese and Thank You food truck! This week, New Hope will reveal the newly-branded truck at our Thank You event, giving donors, volunteers and community partners the opportunity to see the truck before it’s revealed on social media this Friday, September 28th.

This program is a unique food truck operation in which the food is prepared by, marketed and served by young adults with disabilities. We are looking for motivated, eager-to-learn individuals who are interested in learning more about the food service industry, social marketing, sales, customer service and business practices. If you know someone who may be interested in this program, please contact Amy Flint, Director of Community and Family Connections, for more information.

Cheese and Thank You is a constantly-growing program that we are excited to launch, but we can’t do it alone. Thanks to the Big Cheese founding sponsors, Pearson Ford, Kroger, Old National Bank Foundation and two generous anonymous donors for their support in getting this truck rolling! New Hope is also seeking short-term sponsors for fuel and other monthly expenses and partners who may be interested in a visit from the food truck to their workplace for lunch. If you’re interested in partnering with New Hope and Cheese and Thank You, contact Sarah Stone, Manager of Development and Communications, for more information.

Don’t forget to follow Cheese and Thank You on social media, @CheeseandThanks on Facebook and Twitter, for more information and to stay up to date on the food truck’s progress!
