NHI is Celebrating 45 Years of Hope

27 Feb NHI is Celebrating 45 Years of Hope

On Monday, March 13th, New Hope will celebrate 45 years of supporting and advocating for individuals with disabilities. There have been many changes since we first opened our doors in 1978 as a 200-person live-in facility. Today, New Hope provides resources for the individuals we serve to live as our neighbors in the community, work alongside us at our jobs and participate in community events. New Hope is proud to have played a part in helping individuals with disabilities live their best, most fulfilling lives.

On New Hope’s birthday, we will be hosting an internal celebration where we will honor the 8 individuals, 1 physician and 1 staff person who have been with us since we opened our doors. We will be celebrating them and the positive changes that have occurred for individuals with disabilities over the past 45 years. We will also be making an exciting announcement during this celebration that will be shared externally on Tuesday, March 14th – so stay tuned!

Day Services will also be celebrating by having a New Hope birthday party complete with a DJ, dancing, cake and a photobooth. Everyone will be completing a craft where they will share their favorite New Hope memory.

We are looking forward to celebrating New Hope’s 45th birthday and are excited for the future. We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish in the next 45 years!
