27 Jan New Mission Program Coming Soon
by Loraine Brown, NHI Board Member
As it has always been the focus of our work, New Hope’s mission is at the center of my new project. To carry on the legacy of New Hope’s founders and the Daughters of Charity, it is my honor and privilege to join New Hope for the next few months to help develop mission formation opportunities. It is my goal to develop a stand alone program in which all associates can participate to gain a better understanding of who we are as a nonprofit, as a team and as servants of our mission.
Most recently I served as the Chief Mission Integration Officer at St. Vincent|Ascension Indiana, promoting its values through enhancing community relations, facilitating leadership formation, and providing community benefit for the poor and vulnerable. Employed at St. Vincent for over 30 years, I served as a leader in Mission Integration for almost 20 years, and held roles as a Process Improvement Leader, Development Consultant, Clinical Educator and Staff Nurse throughout the ever-changing healthcare environment.
For the last two and half years, I have served on New Hope’s Board of Directors which I have enjoyed very much! I am excited to encounter New Hope in a new way, with a focus of assisting associates to honor the rich history and tradition of this mission-driven organization, experience work that connects to something larger, and find meaning and purpose in daily service. Through this new project, I am truly blessed to get to know New Hope’s associates. Their unwavering commitment to create loving environments that provide the best support for each individual and family served.
I am excited to take on this challenge as New Hope continues to be a leader in providing holistic services and advocating for those in need!
