The tribe has spoken! From September 13^th through the 19^th, New Hope celebrated its Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) during the nationally recognized DSP Week, honoring their game-changing impact on the organization’s mission. With 75% of New Hope’s workforce as DSPs, these dedicated associates were celebrated with a “Survivor” theme, inspired by the iconic Survivor television series. The Payne Road hallways transformed into a tropical island with palm trees and coconuts, vines, jungle animals, and artwork from individuals in the Day Service and AIM programs. Fun dress-up days like Favorite Sports Team Day, Tropical Day, Fun/Silly Hat Day, Superhero Day and New Hope of Indiana Day brought #TeamNewHope together to celebrate DSPs, who also received gratitude kudos and thank-you gifts.

At the same time, over 260 DSPs answered the call at the annual Skills Fair on Payne Road, outwitting the challenges and leveling up their expertise through intense small-group compliance training to deliver exceptional care.
