26 Sep New Hope Volunteers Make a Difference
Over the last few months, several local organizations have donated their time to New Hope by helping complete outdoor beautification projects.
In August, associates from Carmel Clay Parks came to two of our homes in Hamilton County and completed projects. At our Carmel home, volunteers cleaned our handicap accessible van. This was a big help because vans like these are too large to go through car washes and must be hand washed. Additionally, these volunteers scraped and repainted two railings at the home. At our Noblesville home, volunteers cleared brush and weeds from an area that is going to be turned into a garden for residents. We are so grateful for Carmel Clay’s support and are thankful for all they were able to accomplish!

This month, associates from Allied Solutions came to two of our homes to do outdoor beautification projections. At our Fishers home, volunteers cleaned one of our accessible vans, cleaned the front railing and the house’s landscaping. At a home on the Northwest side of Indianapolis, volunteers spruced up the landscaping by weeding, trimming bushes and raking leaves. They also washed the exterior windows of the house and cleaned off the back porch. We appreciate Allied Solutions for allowing their associates to come out to ensure the outsides of the homes of those we serve remain beautiful!
