New Hope Thanks Our Caregivers

24 Apr New Hope Thanks Our Caregivers

New Hope of Indiana’s Day of Caring on April 17th was a day of gratitude, appreciation and support for New Hope and its frontline caregivers. Thanks to our generous donors, New Hope raised over $6,500 in support for New Hope in honor of all of our caregivers including Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), Team Leaders and Nurses. These caregivers have been working round the clock to keep the lives of those we serve as close to normal as possible and to ensure their health, safety and happiness.

To celebrate all of their hard work and dedication, New Hope leaders distributed yard signs to New Hope homes across the city. They shared thank you notes and words of encouragement with caregivers at each home and delivered games and activities for the individuals we serve. We tied a white ribbon at each home as a sign of support for all the caregivers and other essential workers in our communities who are doing their part to keep us all healthy and safe.

Our friends sent their own words of encouragement for #TeamNewHope:

In this time of great challenge, I am so thankful for all that you do and the gift that each of you are to New Hope.

Thanks to you, New Hope’s mission is vibrant and countless lives are impacted.

During these difficult days as many people are feeling isolated and alone, you come to the rescue to offer your generosity of spirit to care for your clients!

Thank you so much for all you do to care for your clients. My family and I are eternally grateful for the care my sister receives!

We heard your words, and we shared them with all of our associates. And we are so thankful for all of your support. Thanks for making our Day of Caring so special!
