28 Sep New Hope Community Thanks DSPs
Every September, New Hope and other disability providers across the country recognize Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and the amazing care they provide to our most vulnerable friends and neighbors. We had a great time celebrating DSP Week, and thanks to our New Hope community, we were able to share so many messages of gratitude and support to our caregivers. They are truly more than essential. They’re EXCEPTIONAL!
Thanks to our friends for sharing these messages.
For all our New Hope DSPs – Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you for your patient time and caring. Thank you for your smiles and friendship for our New Hope family. Thank you for all you do every day!
Liz Hoover, Board Chair
Darlene, Doreen, Joyce & Mucha at Countryside: Thank you for the care and friendship you have given my sister. Your dedication and compassion has truly made a difference in her daily life.
Thanks to the wonderful caregivers for Mark B. and his housemates at the Grandview home. Thanks also to terrific Day Program staff.
Greg and I wish to express our appreciation for Joshua White who works with our son, Tyler, at the Parker home. He does a wonderful job with Ty. The house is always clean and inviting. The staff keep Tyler clean and well dressed. We get an update on his weight and health. We are very pleased with his care. Josh and the other staff are very compassionate with Tyler. We sleep well knowing he is being watched over!! The rest of the staff is also wonderful.
Thank you,
Molly McAloon
Jacob’s Home Staff,
Please know you are all greatly appreciated for your hard work, your patience and dedication to our family member, your vigilance in keeping everyone safe during these difficult times. The house is clean, good home cooked meals are served, appointments are kept, social and emotional needs are met. Thanks for all you do!

New Hope DSPs,
Thank you so much for taking care of Hoosiers every single day. You are our true heroes! I know your work is often difficult, especially during COVID-19, but you should know people are grateful you come to work every day. Thank you!!!

Thank you to all of the DSP’s at New Hope of Indiana! Your dedication, perseverance and the joy you bring to your work is a gift to the New Hope family! You are in my prayers for safety, good health and happiness as you continue to live your calling in serving those in need.
Loraine Brown, Board Secretary
WE ARE INDEED BLESSED! Our son Mark has been a part of New Hope at Grandview for over a decade. What is a testament to the care of our son is the stability of the caregivers for Mark. They are attentive, caring and supportive of the needs of Mark and his housemates. Being in Florida we would not be able to support an aging mother if Mark did not have the wonderful DSP support. THANK YOU!

I would like to praise the staff who provide daily care to the residents. Knowing how moody the residents can be at times, I’m amazed at how well the staff usually handles various situations with which they are confronted. I do really appreciate the care given. It’s not always easy.
Sincerely,
Patt Flynn

Posted at 15:55h, 29 SeptemberI don’t know DSPs individually, but I see the results when I meet those you care for. They are happy, healthy and ready for what each day brings to them. You are a blessing not only to them, but to their families who can be at ease from worry and a community of loving people who would if they could but can’t. Thank you from more people than you will ever know.

Posted at 14:56h, 30 SeptemberKevin g has been with new hope since 2001 in several group homes and supported living. There has been some ups and downs during the years but he is now in the very best supported living home where he is happier than I’ve ever seen him the past 1 1/2 years. I am blessed to have him in a home where the staff is the best ever loving him taking care of him and his two roommates unlike what I thought possible but prayed for. He is so happy clean fed well loved beyond what I’d ever hoped so I am so eternally grateful for the staff he has and management who oversees the home. I am at peace at 78 yrs old knowing when God calls me to go upstairs hopefully that I know Kevin is in the best possible hands where he is. God bless all of you who work so hard to keep him and his roommates safe happy healthy and growing day by day
