New Hope of Indiana was proud to once again be part of the Indianapolis International Airport’s annual art exhibit celebrating the talents of Hoosiers with disabilities during Autism Awareness Month in April. In partnership with the Indianapolis Airport Authority, INARF, and Ability Indiana, this year’s exhibit featured artwork from talented artists across the state and highlighted the importance of inclusion in Indiana’s creative community.

This year, New Hope artists, along with artists from eleven industry organizations, had artwork selected for display in the exhibit located in Civic Plaza, one of the airport’s most visible spaces seen by millions of travelers each year. The collection showcased a variety of artistic styles, creativity, and perspectives, giving artists an opportunity to share their talents with a wide audience.

The kickoff event featured a special performance by the New Hope Choir, whose members brought energy, heart, and joy to the celebration through performances of All You Need Is Love and Give It Up for New Hope. The choir continues to serve as a meaningful outlet for self-expression, confidence-building, and community connection for individuals at New Hope. Their performance helped create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere while highlighting the power of music and inclusion.

The Indianapolis Airport Authority’s continued partnership and support of this event helps provide an incredible platform for artists with disabilities to be recognized and celebrated by travelers from around the world. New Hope of Indiana is grateful for the opportunity to once again participate in this meaningful event and thankful to the Indianapolis Airport Authority for their commitment to inclusion, accessibility, and the arts.
