23 Sep Dr. Patrick Wagner Retires
Dr. Patrick Wagner, who has served as a psychologist at New Hope of Indiana for over 44 years, is retiring. He has been with us since we opened our doors! He served as the staff psychologist until we began our transition of integrating the individuals we serve out into the community. Then, he became our consultant psychologist. Dr. Wagner provided supervision to our behavioral consultants regarding the behavior support plans and psychological concerns of the individuals we serve. He also participated in weekly psychiatric rounds with the psychiatrist and behavioral consultants at New Hope.
On Wednesday, September 21st, we held a retirement party for him at Payne Rd. to show our appreciation. The party was complete with refreshments which included personalized cookies. Additionally, New Hope associates and individuals served celebrated his commitment to New Hope in a sweet tribute video you can view below.

During the celebration, Dr. Wagner discussed the history of New Hope and how far the organization has come since its inception. He explained that at New Hope, we know the difference between value and cost. Dr. Wagner said those who work at New Hope are all here to do the right thing above all else. He said that is what has helped this organization to survive through triumphs and tribulations in the past.
From the entire New Hope of Indiana family, we wish Dr. Wagner well on his future endeavors. We are so grateful for the service and care he provided the clients we serve and hope that his retirement is all he hopes for!
