Hi, my name is Ifunanya. I was born and brought up in Nnewi, Anambra State, Nigeria. Nnewi is a vibrant place with rich cultural heritage and close-knit community interactions.

I come from a family of six children, three boys and three girls. I am the second child in the family. My parents have always been incredibly supportive of all of us. They instilled strong values in us from a very young age. My siblings and I share a close bond, and we support each other in everything.

I love reading books about medical science and personal development, and I have always been curious about how the human body all works together. I also enjoy preparing traditional Nigerian dishes and spending time with family.

Working as a Direct Support Professional at New hope has been incredibly fulfilling. I love being able to make a positive impact on the lives of the individuals I serve, and the sense of community and teamwork at New Hope makes it all easy and possible. My team at New Hope is always there to lend a listening ear and respond to issues in a timely manner. Shout out to my team at Manning Supported Living home- you guys rock!!

I am currently in nursing school to become a registered nurse. My journey towards becoming a registered nurse is driven by my profound desire to make a difference in people’s lives and to provide quality care to diverse groups of people.
