Eva Jones is what we like to call a boomerang associate. She first joined New Hope as a Team Leader before stepping away to focus on life as a stay-at-home mom. But as Eva herself says, “they (New Hope) make a difference,” and it brought her back to New Hope.

In 2024, Eva returned as the HR Assistant, and in July of this year, she was promoted to Talent Acquisition Specialist.

In her current role, Eva recruits new associates and supports the growth of current team members. She especially enjoys the collaborative nature of the position, working alongside leadership to find the perfect fit for both the new associate and their potential worksite. Her previous experience gives her unique insight into the responsibilities of a DSP, allowing her to connect with candidates on a deeper level. Above all, she sees her role as a way to support DSPs who are vital in making New Hope thrive.

One of Eva’s favorite memories is her return to New Hope after nine years away. “I felt such a warm welcome by the staff and clients. I felt very special that so many people were excited to see me back. And how cool is it that it can feel like coming home after so many years away!”

For Eva, joy comes from knowing that every day she can walk down to day services and immediately have a smile plastered on her face. As she says, “It’s hard to have a bad day at New Hope.”
