Rick was recently honored as one of the Class of ’78, having moved into the NHI residential facility when it first opened in 1978. He resided on D Pod/Delta Hall and moved to the Riley Rd. Supported Living Home in 1996. Just last month, in April, Rick moved to the 74th Place SLP home. Rick is very social; he loves to flirt with the ladies and also tease others, especially D.G. Saladin, Team Leader at the Castleton Day Services. D.G.’s brother, Jeff Konrady, is Rick’s best friend, with whom he resided both in the residential facility and at Riley Rd. for over twenty years. He really misses Jeff and is looking forward to seeing his buddy soon.

Rick enjoys going to Castleton Day Services and his favorite activities are spending time with his girlfriend, Barbara, listening to music/karaoke, having fun at the many parties, doing crafts etc. He likes his new home and wants to plant some flowers there to enjoy when sitting outside. Rick is very close to his family and sees his parents weekly. He has a twin brother, another brother and two sisters. They are a very important part of his life. He has gone to Camp Sharing Meadows for many years and is looking forward to camp this summer.
