Attention cheese enthusiasts! The Cheese and Thank You food truck is back for the 2025 season, serving mouthwatering white cheddar mac-n-cheese with a variety of tasty toppings. By dining with us, you’re not only enjoying a delicious meal but also supporting a great cause. The Cheese and Thank You program by New Hope empowers individuals with disabilities through paid job training in the food service industry, equipping them with skills in social marketing, sales, customer service, and business management. This year, our truck proudly employs three community members with disabilities. Get to know them below!

Meet Isiah – Food Truck Associate

Isiah loves socializing and getting to know new people. He has a special heart for his grandmother, whom he loves to help with anything she needs. In his free time, he enjoys playing video games (especially Fortnite), as well as listening to and making music. He is excited to take orders and interact with customers face-to-face while on the food truck!

Meet Chris – Food Truck Associate

Meet Chris! Chris enjoys spending time with his family, playing basketball, and doing CrossFit to stay healthy. If he’s not munching on chicken alfredo or ranch dressing, you might find him shopping at HomeGoods for wrapping paper! He also loves talking about sports teams, airlines, and video games.

Meet Marell – Food Truck Associate

Meet Marell! Marell is a very fast learner and he loves to help others when he’s done with his tasks. He enjoys being active as much as he can, whether it’s going on a walk with staff or playing sports with his friends. He is excited to learn how to make food and earn money so he can use it to buy movies and video games.

Meet Chase – Food Truck Specialist

Chase is New Hope’s new Food Truck Specialist! Chase loves helping people with disabilities reach new milestones and gain new skills. In her free time, she loves doing art and playing board games and video games with her husband. She can’t wait to take the truck out and help central Indianapolis understand the disability community a little better.
