On August 18th, New Hope of Indiana held its 5th annual Silver Cup Celebration. We welcomed nearly 300 attendees to our new venue this year, the Ritz Charles. Our theme was “Hope Unites – Connecting Passion with Potential.” Attendees and individuals served by New Hope were asked to share their passions so we could celebrate the many things we have in common. 22 Feb - Inclusive Summer Camp Coming in 2022

New Hope of Indiana is excited to be offering a one-week inclusive day camp for youth ages 11-16 from June 20 -24, 2022. New Hope is committed to our core value of inclusivity, and we are excited to offer this opportunity to campers with and without disabilities. The week will be filled with traditional camp activities like tie-dying, jewelry making, sports, camp songs, water activities and much more. This holiday season, New Hope has been fortunate to have the support of dozens of volunteers to bring some holiday cheer to the individuals we serve. Indiana Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch today urged Indiana employers to solve their workforce crisis by hiring individuals with disabilities. Crouch made her comments during a visit to New Hope of Indiana in Indianapolis as part of her Inauguration Celebration. “Nationally, the unemployment rate for individuals with developmental disabilities is over 70 percent,” Crouch said. “Right now, as I travel the state, I see more ‘Now Hiring’ signs than I have in my entire career as a public official. This July, New Hope's Aktion Club enjoyed its first in-person event since February 2020. The group hosted its reunion cookout with the help of volunteers from Kiwanis Club of Northwest Indianapolis. Each year, our friends at the Sycamore Foundation organize Walking for Dreams, an annual walk to support dozens of local nonprofit organizations like New Hope.
