April is Volunteer Appreciation month and New Hope of Indiana is incredibly appreciative of our individual and corporate volunteers. This month, we highlighted a few of our volunteers on social media including First Financial Bank, Rehab Medical, Tim Winship and Maureen Colin, and United Way of Central Indiana. Our volunteers help New Hope in various ways. Sometimes it is at one of our 52 residential homes with outdoor and indoor beautification. Other times it’s providing activities for our day services or even making holiday cards for the individuals we serve.  Most recently, New Hope had a group of volunteers from United Way of Central Indiana (UWCI) facilitated a car wash for New Hope vans. There is no one task when coming to volunteer at New Hope, we offer diverse opportunities. We could not carry out our mission to the extent we do without the help of our volunteers. New Hope is entirely grateful for each and every volunteer that comes our way.

New Hope is always looking for more volunteers. Many of the volunteers we have talked to mention how they are not only impacting New Hope, but they are leaving changed themselves. Jessi Harris, Rehab Medial, stated “Our team walked away not only feeling fulfilled but also uplifted, with a renewed sense of joy, purpose, and hope”.
