At this year’s fall festival, we welcomed over 300 people to our Payne Road location for an afternoon of fun on October 31^st! The annual fall festival is a special time that everyone looks forward to all year. Not only is it a fun afternoon, but it is also an opportunity for all individuals served by New Hope to come together in one place and see people who we don’t normally get to see. It’s a time to catch up with old friends, roommates, and staff.

Guests enjoyed an afternoon of dancing, crafts, games, and pizza. The DJ played great music, and we had an awesome dance party. We also held our annual parade of costumes where we walked around the building so everyone could see our costumes. As always, there were some really amazing ones! Back by popular demand, our Aktion Club had fun with a pie-in-the-face booth where for $1.00, guests could throw a pie in the face of their favorite person. Many of our associates stepped up and took a pie in the face all in the name of fun. Aktion Club raised $80 to make emergency kits for the Westminster Neighborhood Services, Inc..

A special thank you to our friends from the Northwest Indianapolis Kiwanis Club. They generously sponsor our fall festival each year, helping to cover the costs of the pizza and DJ. Many members from their club also attended the event and volunteered to serve lunch, apply temporary tattoos, play bingo and more! We are grateful for their partnership and the many ways they support New Hope and those we serve.
