28 Dec A Year in Review: 2021
As we enter into the new year, we are celebrating some of our favorite 2021 moments.
January – February 2021
New Hope’s caregivers became eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine in January, a huge step toward better protecting the individuals we serve through the pandemic. Just a few weeks later, the individuals served in New Hope’s residential programs began to receive their own vaccines.
Garden Club and other in-person volunteer activities resumed at New Hope’s Day Services programs for the first time in 12 months.
The Indianapolis 500 Festival Princesses came to visit and gave some special pace car rides to the individuals in our Day Services program.
New Hope of Indiana was once again named an IndyStar Top Workplace for the third year running.
We proudly welcomed the Lt. Governor of Indiana, Suzanne Crouch, to receive a special honor from INARF and to tour New Hope.
The fourth annual Silver Cup Celebration was majorly successful, raising over $120,000 to support New Hope’s mission. This year’s event was emceed by Anne Marie Tiernon of WTHR and featured Super Bowl Champion Gary Bracket as a special guest speaker.
Everyone’s favorite New Hope tradition, the annual Fall Festival, took place at New Hope with live music, a costume contest and a lot of fun!
After spending the holidays apart in 2020, New Hope was happy to bring many of our individuals together for some holiday parties.
Happy New Year from New Hope!
