A New Hope Tradition

29 Aug A New Hope Tradition

We have had such a great time celebrating our 40th Anniversary this year, and we have especially enjoyed exploring our past. In 1988 in celebration of our 10th anniversary, the staff, clients and families of New Hope got together and completed a series of paintings which still hang in our administrative offices today. We loved this idea of a community art project that might bring our New Hope family together and leave us with a long-lasting gift to add to our proud legacy. After doing a little research, we found out that the company which facilitated those original paintings as well as several other New Hope murals is in fact still in business today. While the artist who worked with us has since retired, his son still runs the family business today. Check out all of the charitable work they’re doing at the Foundation for Hospital Art!

We are excited to invite our donors and volunteers to participate in creating a new painting as part of our 40th Anniversary celebration, once again facilitated by the Foundation for Hospital Art. Join us on September 27th for wine and cheese as well as some fun activities like the reveal of our new food truck, Cheese and Thank You, and the painting of our newest New Hope masterpiece! Please contact Sarah Stone for more information or to RSVP.

We hope you’ll join us for this New Hope tradition!
