For the second year in a row, we had a fin-tastic time celebrating the sharkiest week of the year. Discovery Channel's Shark Week was held from July 7 – 13, and New Hope's Achieving Inclusion and Meaning (AIM) group and Day Services program celebrated with a sharktacular party. 

We transformed the party space into a sea-inspired haven that included inflatable sharks, a photo booth, posters and more! In addition, we had jaw-some snacks to match! Our partygoers enjoyed shark shaped sugar cookies with blue sprinkles and delicious ocean water punch.  

During the party, participants enjoyed watching Shark Week episodes while completing a shark sticker craft. Then, we played bingo and participants won some fun shark-themed prizes. To finish the day, we played pin-the-fin on the shark and a shark ring toss game. 

Overall, we had a great time celebrating summer as well as the ocean's apex predator!
