28 Aug 2023 Silver Cup was a Success
New Hope’s Sixth Annual Silver Cup Celebration was held on August 10th. The Silver Cup is our largest fundraiser of the year! This year, the event was held at the Indiana Farm Bureau Football Center (also known as the Indianapolis Colts practice facility).
There were over 250 people in attendance at this year’s Silver Cup! Anne Marie Tiernan from WTHR served as our emcee for the event. Throughout the program, we heard from many New Hope families who spoke about how much our organization means to them. The New Hope Choir also performed for guests. Led by Musulyn Travers and Blessing Ugwuanyi, Patty Cooper, Lori Eichenberger, Robert Hoey III, Eric Lamar, Mike Silver, Nikeita Smith and Cindy Twigg performed “Stand By Me”. They did a great job with many guests commenting how much they enjoyed the performance.
In addition to the staff awards, we also recognized PNC as our Partner in Service and Kathe Rae as our Volunteer of the Year. Additionally, we acknowledged Dorothy Nowlin-Love’s 45 years of service at New Hope.
Pearson Ford offered a $10,000 match at the event. With this match, donations, sponsorships and our silent auction, we were able to raise over $160,000!
