02 Jan New Hope Celebrates 40 Years of Hope!
2018 marks a momentous year for New Hope of Indiana as we celebrate 40 years of hope.
Since our doors opened in 1978, we have provided those with disabilities and families in need of care and support with programs that are impactful, innovative and compassionate. Whether clients have been with us for one week or 40 years, they have found staff who are devoted to providing support and ensuring that they have the tools to reach their full potential.
Over the years, we’ve heard powerful words from a number our families:
“New Hope has created and supported an environment that gives our brother an opportunity to live a comfortable, independent, safe and fulfilling life. In doing so, New Hope has provided a sense of security for us knowing he is well cared for, respected and loved. Something my sisters and I are so appreciative of.”
“Everyone we meet at New Hope is supportive and friendly. Not only does my daughter look forward to seeing her therapists, but also other staff members who work in different departments. I appreciate the dedication and professionalism of her therapists as well as other New Hope employees. New Hope has become a significant component of my daughter’s care. I feel confident that she is receiving quality therapy in a caring and positive environment.”
Among the staff of New Hope, one finds many long-time employees (39 have been with New Hope for 20 years or more!) who are leaders in their fields and dedicated to seeing that we continue making an impact just as we have for the last 40 years. We will be celebrating 40 Years of Hope throughout the year with a number of events including our Birthday Party on March 13th (the official day New Hope of Indiana opened on Payne Road) and a fundraising lunch on May 3rd to celebrate our bright future.
You can stay up to date on all of our upcoming events and watch for photos, videos and memories throughout the year on our website and on social media. Have a New Hope story to share? Contact us at NewHope40@newhopeofindiana.org or post it on Facebook using #NewHope40.
We look forward to celebrating with you!
